Some Salvenmaschinenkanone were produced and tested by the Wehrmacht. It should fire all 8 barrels at the same time to send a massive wave of steel against the enemy airplanes. This was although the main problem of the weapon. The massive recoil of 8 shot at the same time were too much for the structure and the moving parts of this Anti Air gun. So the gun made it never over the testing status. One of them survived the war and is still visible in a Russian Museum
